Construction firm donates over $30,000 to youth addiction treatment facility

A youth addiction treatment facility is now more than $30,000 richer after a construction firm working in the area donated the money, which marks the second year in a row the company has done so.
Burns & McDonnell, a Missouri-based construction company, made the $30,490 donation to Eckert Youth Homes on Thursday. Since last March, the firm has been working on an expansion of the Pioneer Generation Station owned by Basin Electric Power Cooperative. Last year, the company donated $27,972 to Eckert Youth Homes. This year, they were able to raise a little more.
